Solar BPO Operations Platform
The Challenge
Interconnection, permitting, meter-change, and PTO status for US residential solar projects were scattered across multiple Excel trackers per source, with duplicate customer records and no single place to see where a project actually stood.
The Solution
We built a 5-stage import pipeline (upload → parse → map → preview → import, with rollback) and a weighted fuzzy-match dedup engine — combining exact email/phone/utility-account matches with Jaro-Winkler name similarity and normalized address matching — to auto-merge or flag duplicate customer records, then exposed the result through 7 role-gated dashboards including a de-jargoned client view.
The Results
- Ingested and consolidated 4,500+ customer records from 4 real reference workbooks end to end.
- Deployed to production, replacing scattered spreadsheet tracking with one searchable system.
- Full per-row source traceability and status history for every project, not just a snapshot.
